    Devetashka Cave

    "Devetashkata peshtera" is a karst cave, an amazing natural phenomenon, located about 20 km from the town of Lovech. The rock bridge has 7 openings on its ceiling which make the scenery illuminated a mesmerizing. There are 11 underground lakes as well as a small river that runs through. Also15 kinds of bats and several other protected species of birds. According to archaeologists, Devetàshka was inhabited in prehistoric times, as early as 70,000 BC. It was used as food storage and shelter.

    Prohodna Cave

    Prohodna cave a.k.a. The God's eyes cave is the best known attraction in the Karlukovo Gorge, part of one of the largest karst regions in Bulgaria and a popular location for speleology and climbers. The rock arch its up to 56 meters tall and reaches 260 meters in length. Originated in the Quaternary Era, Bulgaria constitutes a true paradise for caving enthusiasts because there are almost two and a half hundred caverns registered. The cave is a magical place in all aspects.Waterfalls that fall through the “eyes” when it rains and that have created the metaphor of "divine crying". Or the fantastic night vision of the full moon through these openings. If you want to admire the nature and see the "Eyes of God", this is a must-visit place!

    Krushuna waterfalls- One of the top places to visit when exploring the nature of Bulgaria. The hike goes through cascade of many water jumps. Isn’t intense, it is suitable for beginners hikers, appropriate also for children. The main waterfall is about 20 m high and it splits into several smaller ones along its way down the soft limestone rocks. For centuries local people have believed in the healing power of these waters, and many still go to the falls to do a ritual for good health on Saint George’s Day. In the rocks around the Krushùna Falls one can spot a few ancient caves that were inhabited by Christian hermits
