Stop 1: Bánh Mì Chay No better way to kick things off than with a street-side bánh mì packed with smoky mushroom pâté, crunchy pickles, and that magical soy sauce you’ll dream about later :)
Stop 2: Hidden Alley Curry Combo A family-run joint that doesn’t even have a sign ... just locals slurping curry and wiping bowls clean. You’ll try: – Creamy coconut mushroom curry (cà ri dê chay) – Sticky rice with mushroom floss (xôi mặn chay) – Crispy veggie spring rolls (chả giò chay) and some nice tea :)
Stop 3 (depend on the day): DIY Bánh Xèo Wrap Party Crispy sizzling pancake made from rice flour, mung beans, and coconut shoot ... served with rice paper, fresh herbs, and dipping sauce. Wrap it. Roll it. Regret nothing.
Stop 4: Traditional Sweet Soup Tasting (Chè) Sample iconic Vietnamese desserts served in coconut milk: – Chè Bà Ba: Taro, sweet potato, and mung beans – Chè Đậu Trắng: Sticky rice with kidney beans Optional: Ask us about the story behind “chè” – it’s more than just dessert.

Stop 6: Bún Thịt Nướng Chay – Saigon’s Street Noodle Icon Grilled vegan “meat” on a bed of rice noodles with herbs, pickles, peanuts, and housemade pineapple vegan “fish” sauce... very good
Stop 7: Quán Phở Ngon .. Vegan Pho Worth Writing Home About Aromatic broth with hints of star anise, charred onion, and ginger , paired with handmade wontons and shiitake mushrooms. A true Saigon classic, plant-based style.
Stop 8: Bột Chiên: Saigon’s Favorite Fried Street Snack Fried taro rice flour cakes tossed with scallion oil and shredded turnip. Crispy outside, chewy inside, topped with fresh herbs, papaya salad and chili sauce.
