This tour we specially crafted for you with a special combo promotion. For the first half of this tour starting from 9:00AM to 12:30PM you will enjoy Kuala Lumpur City Tour. A short break between 12:30PM to 1:00PM for you to having Nasi Kandar lunch. And then from 1:00PM until 4:30PM we will proceed with the second half of this tour which is Malaysia Countryside & Batu Caves Tour. After pickup from the Malaysia Tourism Center (MATIC) or your centrally located hotel in Kuala Lumpur, travel by air-conditioned minivan or bus/couch to the first stop of the first half of this tour: Merdeka Square. Also called Independence Square, this symbol of Malaysian independence is one of the most picturesque squares in the world. Admire both traditional and modern architectural masterpieces before moving on to the King’s Palace.
Known as Istana Negara, this residence of the King of Malaysia doesn't allow visitor access inside the building, but you can take photos of the exterior along with the changing of the guards, which occurs hourly.
Continued to Petronas Twin Towers are an ideal place for photo stop; gaze at the city skyline and capture unforgettable moments on camera.(photo stop only, admission ticket not included)
KLCC Park is a 50-acre garden set close to Suria KLCC shopping centre. Designed by Roberto Burle Marx, it was designed to provide a touch of greenery for the Petronas Twin Towers and the areas surrounding it. On the park grounds is a 10,000sqm manmade lake (Lake Symphony) with a 43m bridge that cuts across.
Proceed to National Mosque - Contrast your visit to these glass and steel marvels with the National Mosque, located in the heart of the city amid lush green gardens. Built in1965, it is one of the most elegant buildings in KL and features a spectacular main dome covered in green and blue tiles
Next up is the Chinese Thean Hou Temple. Learn about the synergy of influences such as Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism that converge to form an unforgettable architectural ensemble. Finish the first half of this tour at the National Monument (Tugu Negara), a bronze tribute to the lives that were lost in the fight for Malaysian independence, designed by American architect Felix de Weldon.
Before proceed to the second half of this tour, we will have a short break for lunch. We will bring you to the nearby Nasi Kandar Restaurant, which has excellent flavors across a variety of Malaysian-Indian dishes. At 1:00 PM we will proceed with Malaysia Countryside & Batu Caves Tour
Continued the Countryside tour: to the Royal Selangor Pewter will feature the largest and most modern pewter factory in the world, reputed internationally for its high quality and craftsmanship. You will be shown the different processes, such as casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving during this factory tour.
Next we stop at Batik Factory – see how Batik is designed and printed
Your last stop will be at the limestone hills of Batu Caves that comprises of three caverns and several smaller caves. It is the shrine of Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity – a flight of 272 steps lead up to the temple cave. Another cave, called the museum cave, is filled with images of deities and murals depicting scenes from the Hindu scriptures. Closed for 3 days on Thaipusam Festive (the day before, during and the day after festive) After your day filled with Malaysian history, culture, and traditions, you will end your tour with hotel drop off in Kuala Lumpur(City Center only)
