Spend a relaxed half-day exploring Cape Town’s spectacular Atlantic coastline and meeting the famous African penguins at Boulders Beach.
This 6-hour small-group tour combines some of the Cape Peninsula’s most beautiful coastal scenery with an extended visit to Boulders Beach. Stop at scenic Maiden’s Cove, enjoy the breathtaking Chapman’s Peak Drive, then spend approximately 2 full hours at Boulders Beach by giving you plenty of time to see the African penguins, take photos, relax on the beach and go for a swim.
Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel! If you're lucky, you may even spot African penguins swimming in the waters around the beach.
With hotel (accommodation) pickup and drop-off in Cape Town, an air-conditioned vehicle, bottled water and a knowledgeable local guide, this is an easy and memorable way to experience the Cape Peninsula without spending your entire day on tour.

Start your Cape Peninsula experience with a stop at Maiden’s Cove, one of Cape Town’s most beautiful viewpoints. Enjoy spectacular views across the Atlantic Ocean, Camps Bay and the Twelve Apostles, with time to take photos and enjoy the scenery.

2Chapman's Peak Drive
Travel along the famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, winding between dramatic mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy breathtaking coastal scenery and photo opportunity stop along one of the world’s most spectacular coastal routes.

3Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Approximately 2 hours, the highlight of the tour! Spend approximately two hours at Boulders Beach, home to a thriving colony of African penguins. Follow the viewing paths, watch the penguins in their natural coastal environment and enjoy plenty of time for photography. And don't rush away as you also have time to enjoy the beach and swim. Remember to bring your swimsuit and towel. If you're lucky, you may see African penguins swimming in the surrounding waters. Please remember that penguins are wild animals. Their presence in the swimming area cannot be guaranteed, and you must maintain a respectful distance and never touch or feed them. After your time at Boulders Beach, relax on the return journey to Cape Town.

4Boyes Drive
After a hours spent exploring, you can enjoy the coastal drive back to Cape Town with a stop at the Boyes drive which has absolutely stunning views of the False Bay coast. This is also a good spot to watch surfers local and international alike tackling Cape Town’s waves.
