Discover Rio’s underwater world on a small-group boat tour to the Tijuca Islands from Barra da Tijuca, with snorkeling gear provided. The excursion offers chances to spot sea turtles, colorful fish, birdlife, and, seasonally, migrating humpback whales (June–August). Travelers swim and walk on island beaches, admire views of Pedra da Gávea and Dois Irmãos, and enjoy intimate access with a limit of 12 passengers per tour. The journey lasts about 3 hours and departs from Ilha da Coroa 2 (Barra), though the meeting point may switch to Urca depending on conditions.

Our crew shows you not only turtles but also hidden creatures. We supply the snorkels and masks for you to enjoy seeing the abundant marine life in the water! This is an unforgettable experience that you just can’t miss.

On calm days we can also walk in one of the island and check the different species of birds who lives there. When the see is stronger we can go and check Rios’s channels where we can easily see alligators and capivaras. Join us on this adventure!
