    Split

Split is a captivating city where ancient Roman history seamlessly blends with a vibrant, modern Mediterranean lifestyle. At its heart lies the stunning Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the best-preserved Roman monuments in the world. Unlike a typical museum, this 1,700-year-old palace is the living, breathing core of the city, with a labyrinth of narrow streets, courtyards, and shops housed within its original walls. Beyond the palace, the city unfolds onto the famous Riva promenade, a bustling waterfront lined with palm trees, cafes, and restaurants. It's the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, people-watch, and soak up the lively atmosphere. Split's location on the Adriatic coast makes it a natural gateway to the beautiful Dalmatian islands, such as Brač and Hvar, which are just a short ferry ride away. The city itself also offers beautiful beaches and the serene Marjan Hill, a a forest park with stunning panoramic views of the city and sea.
