The Luberon is a Provençal patchwork of hilltop villages, vineyards, ancient abbeys & fragrant lavender fields. A rural region that makes time for the good things in life. Our journey begins with a visit to Gordes, picturesque village, renowned for its stunning stone houses & winding cobblestone streets, invites you to explore the rich history & vibrant culture of the Luberon via Abbey de Sénanque to Roussillon best known for its distinctive red cliffs, created by the world’s largest known ochre deposit, time for lunch in one of the village restaurants. Next a short drive to Bonnieux via the Roman bridge through the Luberon massif to the village of Lourmarin - its streets lined with upmarket galleries & boutiques. Don't miss out on a visit to the Renaissance Château de Lourmarin.

All our tours include pick-up from your hotel or villa in Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Arles, St Rémy de Provence, Lourmarin & Gordes. This tour is NOT suitable as a shore excursion to/from the port of Marseille.

On arrival at the village of Gordes where we spend a good hour exploring narrow streets in search of antique shops, galleries, cafes & boutiques. Time here for a snack & morning coffee. As we leave visit to the Village des Bories one of the highlights of the day.

Visit to the village where you have the option to both visit the village, the markets (when they operate) and a visit to the castle - Château de Lourmarin (entrance not included and time permitting)
