Take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and discover a very special side of Tuscany! In a welcoming workshop, you’ll step into the fascinating world of traditional goldsmithing under the guidance of an experienced local goldsmith.
From your initial idea to the finished piece of jewelry, you’ll be guided step by step through the creative process—from melting and shaping the metal to sawing, filing and polishing. The workshop is personal and tailored to the age and interests of your group. No previous experience is required—everyone can take part and create their own unique piece of jewelry to take home.
You’re also welcome to bring old jewelry and, if suitable, melt it down and transform it into something new.
During the workshop, you’ll enjoy a small snack featuring local Tuscan specialties.
At the end, you’ll take home not only a piece of jewelry made by your own hands, but also a truly personal memory of your journey through the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
I can pick up the guests at the bus stop at Montespertoli or San Casciano Val di Pesa.
From Fornacette you drive up the mountain in the direction of Polvereto. After about 1.5 km turn left onto the dirt road, in Via Montetermini. After about 300m, after a tight right-hand bend, the parking place is in front of my rose-colored house on the right-hand side. I await my guests there.
