Try surfing for the first time in the waves DE Matosinhos, the best beach in Porto for beginners. In this friendly and fun class, certified instructors help you step by step get up on the board and feel the thrill of surfing the Atlantic — all in a safe and welcoming environment.

Meeting and pickup
To get to the surf school you can come by bus number 500 or 502 (get off at Praça São Salvador) the surf school is in front of the stop.
What to expect
In this small group class (max 8 people), you will discover the basics of surfing with certified instructors and passionate for the sea. DE after a brief heating and introduction into the sand, you will enter the water with all the equipment included — board, suit and leash.
The instructors follow each student individually, helping them improve balance and technique while ensuring total safety.
The landscape is the Praia DE Matosinhos, one of the most iconic of northern Portugal, known for its gentle waves and relaxed atmosphere.
Whether alone, with friends or family, this is an unforgettable experience for enjoying the sea, having fun and creating unique memories in Porto.
