Your adventure begins with a 20-minute boat ride from Stone Town to the stunning Nakupenda Sandbank. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters, this natural paradise is perfect for a day of relaxation and exploration.
Before reaching the sandbank, you’ll stop for a guided snorkeling session at a nearby coral reef. Swim among vibrant tropical fish and coral formations in the warm, shallow waters. No prior experience is needed, and all equipment is provided.
Once you arrive at Nakupenda, enjoy time to swim, sunbathe, and take in the incredible scenery. The sandbank appears and disappears with the tides, creating a truly unique experience.
While you relax, the crew will prepare a fresh seafood barbecue lunch right on the beach. The menu typically includes grilled lobster, prawns, calamari, and seasonal fruits. Vegetarian options are also available upon request.
