Arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport and meet your guide, then transfer to your hotel. Room is available at 14h. This evening, enjoy The Ancient Kingdom walking inside the peninsular along confluence of Khan and Mekong River and surrounding beautiful Lao and French architecture of this small and charming World Heritage town. Luang Prabang Nestled in a stunning setting amid lush mountains, this sacred city of golden temples and saffron robed monks provides endless opportunities for sightseeing. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner with Laos typical food. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, join the pier located behind the Royal Palace for a relaxing cruise on the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Sanctuary Caves, who have decorated the caves with thousands of Buddhist statues and paraphernalia. On the way, just contemplate the beautiful scenery on two shores of the Mekong River and stop in the village Ban Xang Khong, where the guide will provide you with information about silk and Saa paper production process. Cruise back to town. In the afternoon, you take to the road, (~45mns) to discover Kuang Si, the most beautiful waterfalls of Luang Prabang, where the water is turquoise all year round. On the way back to the city center, if time permits, stop and observe the daily life in a few ethnic minority villages of Laos. Overnight at your hotel.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Meet guide and driver then depart for the discovery of the Luang Prabang’s cultural and spiritual heritages. Your city tour begins with the Wat May temple which lies on a vast ground and features a style of religious architecture and consists of an ordination hall (sim) and some koutis (the monk’s dwellings). Afterwards, explore the Royal Palace Museum, it is an ideal place to study or learn some history and Royal lifestyle of Laos. Then, visit Wat Xieng Thong temple, which means the "Monastery of the Golden City", one of the higher symbols of Buddhism in Laos. In the afternoon, diving to Luang Prabang train station and take speed train to Vang Vieng. Welcomed by local guide and driver on arrival in Vang Vieng station, then transfer to hotel in town. Check in and time at leisure. Overnight at your hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, descending the Nam Song by boat leads us through idyllic scenes of rural life: a unique sight with the limestone mountain in the background. Afterward, visit to Tham Nangfa (Angel Cave), a recently discovered cavern featuring spectacular stalactites and limestone formations in various intricate shapes. Take in the breathtaking beauty of these hidden natural wonders. Continue your journey to Tham Jang Cave, the most famous cave in Vang Vieng. In the early 19th century, this cave was used as a defensive hideout against Chinese invaders. Explore its impressive limestone formations and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape from the cave entrance. Then, transfer to Vientiane about 2.5 hours from Vang Vieng. Vientiane is one of the quietest capital cities in the world, far away from the bustle and hustle of other Asian capitals. On arrival, check in hotel and time at leisure Overnight in hotel
This morning, depart to visit the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. This afternoon, visit Buddha parc, located 25kms from city center. After visiting, driving back to hotel for resting.
