Happy 80th Birthday Freddie Mercury, King for a Day Tour

7 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English and 1 more

This is a unique week of tours to mark what would have been Freddie Mercury's 80th birthday. We will visit many sites associated with Freddie from his family home in Feltham, to Garden Lodge where he lived and tragically died in 1991. I will tell many stories about Queen, one of the greatest rock bands in the world. We will visit several iconic sites, where the band lived, socialised recorded and played. I have been a Queen fan for over 50 years and count myself lucky to have seen them in concert in 1986. This is an all day tour to cover a swathe of Freddie and Queen related locations.
I intend for us to have lunch at the Champion Pub where it is said Freddie wrote 'We are the Champions" (Incidentally I am sceptical about this) During our tour as we commemorate Freddie's life I will show you a number of clips of Freddie and the band performing. We will be using public transport. A good level of fitness and walking shoes are required for this epic Queen journey
