Ideal for groups. In this walking tour we will walk from the City of London to the City of Westminster. We will see 2000 years of history and visit some of London's most amazing pubs. Our first pub will be the Black Friar. An art nouveau masterpiece. We will hear stories of the Great Fire of London and the Blitz. We will visit St Brides church and discover the hidden treasures in the crypt. We will hear stories of the once mighty print newspaper industry. We will visit a number of pubs including Ye Old Cheshire Cheese, that has not changed in hundreds of years. We will also hear about the most famous parrot in the world! We will visit two of the Inns of Court based in the Temple. We will hear of the connection between a chambers here and Jack the Ripper. We will then visit more unique pubs and the site of the Demon Barber of Fleet street. We will finish our tour at The Seven Stars

    We will see what was once the heart of the British Newspaper Industry. We will also see an old printing press and the Daily Express and Daily Telegraph building

    Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese

    An incredible pub that dates back to the 1600s. This pub was a place to shelter in the Blitz. I will take you down the furthest cellar. Much of this pub has not changed in 100s of years. I will tell you about the history of the pub and the famous people who used to drink there. I will show tell you about Polly the most famous parrot in the world, who stills sits proudly above the front bar. (Although she is stuffed)
