Day 1: Train Cemetery, Uyuni Salt Flats, Incahuasi Island, and hotel in Ajencha. Departure at 10:30 a.m. in 4x4 vehicles. We begin with a visit to the Train Cemetery, ideal for artistic photographs with antique locomotives. We continue to Colchani, where we will learn about the artisanal salt production and explore its market and museum. Then we enter the Uyuni Salt Flats (3,663 meters above sea level), an impressive 12,000 km² salt desert. Along the way, we visit the Salt Eyes, the Salt Museum-Hotel, the Dakar Monument, and the Flags of the World. Later, we arrive at Incahuasi Island, where we can admire giant cacti and panoramic views. We end the day with a beautiful sunset accompanied by a glass of wine and transfer to the hotel.
799 Day 2: Chiguana, Ollagüe Viewpoint, Andean Lagoons, and Laguna Roja (Red Lagoon). After breakfast, we begin our journey through the Chiguana Desert, surrounded by volcanic landscapes. We continue to the Ollagüe Volcano viewpoint, which offers a breathtaking panoramic view. Next, we visit the high-altitude lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota, a natural habitat for numerous flamingos. We enjoy lunch en route before entering the Siloli Desert, home to the famous Stone Tree, a rock formation sculpted by the wind. In the afternoon, we arrive at Laguna Roja, known for its intense coloration and the presence of three flamingo species: Chilean, James's, and Andean. We end the day with a transfer to the hotel for dinner and rest.
Day 3: Sol de Mañana Geysers, Hot Springs, Green and White Lagoons, and Transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. Very early, after breakfast, we visit the Sol de Mañana Geysers, an area of intense volcanic activity with fumaroles, bubbling mud pools, and the smell of sulfur. Then we head to the Polques Hot Springs, where you can relax with a soak in a unique natural setting. We continue to the Salvador Dalí Desert, famous for its surreal landscapes and multicolored rock formations. Later, we visit the viewpoints overlooking the Green Lagoon, the White Lagoon, and the Lincancabur Volcano. Finally, assistance at the border crossing and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama.
