    The city of Suchitoto is located in the picturesque department of Cuscatlán, just 47 kilometers away from the capital. Famous for being a warm town, Suchitoto is considered a national historical jewel because of the richness of its colonial heritage and the emblematic Artificial lake Suchitlán that adorns its beautiful panoramic views. Its Nahuatl toponymy means "Place of the flower bird." Its streets are characterized by being cobbled and their colonial-looking houses with beautiful balconies transport all visitors a travel to the past. In its passages you will find art galleries with incredible samples of national art and colorful shops with wooden products, beautiful looms, indigo-dyed clothing and countless personal accessories to decorate your home.

    Cihuatan The greatest archaeological site in El Salvador , is located 30 km from San Salvador City. This settlement emerged after the famous collapse of the Mayas. Cihuatan is a post classic Pipil City between 900- 1200 AD. More than 100 mounds were found in a total of 70 hectares . Here you can observe ball court, temples, museums etc.
