Meeting and pickup
We do free pickups within San Ignacio Town area. If you are staying on a Resort, Hotel, Lodge, Hostel, Guest House or Airbnb outside our pickup described area please let us know and we will see if it is within the range of our free pickups.
We meet all our guest at the border of Belize-Guatemala but we also do free pickups at the described location (Hotels within San Ignacio Town) or let us know where you will be staying and we can check if your hotel is within the free pickups area.

1Melchor de Mencos
This is the Western Border. The process of crossing the borders with us is easy. First you will have to pay a departure tax (20USD) to exit Belize and then get a stamp on your passport. We will then assist you with the border crossing of Guatemala where you will get another stamp to enter the county. The borders crossing takes around 30 minutes in total.

2El Remate
After 1 hour drive within Guatemala we will do a quick stop to get a few photos of the Lake Peten Itza. This lake is on of the three largest lakes of the country of Guatemala.

3Tikal National Park
After we had drive a total of 2 hours from the Border we will arrive to Tikal Nacional Park is time to get ready for the guided tour. Our local expert will take you to visit the highlights of Tikal archaeological site such as the grand plaza, Temple 3, temple 4 and the Lost World complex. You will will have some free time to climb temples and take your photos at different great angles that our local expert will recommend. During the jungle trails you will have the opportunity to see Flora and Fauna such as Spider Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, Coati Mundis, Turkeys, Toucans and many other species of birds. After the 3.5 to 4 hours guided tour is time to return back.

4El Caoba
On the way back from Tikal we will drive 30 minutes to get to this restaurant to have the included lunch. You will have 5 lunch options to choose from the menu plus a drink is included. We will sit and enjoy our lunch with handmade corn tortillas.

5Melchor de Mencos
After lunch we will drive back to the border for 1.5 hours. We will assist you with the border crossing to return back to Belize. There is no border payments on the way back.
