Meet guide in the hotel lobby at 8:30am and transfer to tiger leaping gorge for the hiking, pls note you like hiking and can hike around 5 hours a day then you can join the tour.
Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Gorge) is on the Jinsha River of the upper reaches of the Yangtze. It is located 100 kilometers north of LiJiang. The gorge is 17 kilometers long with a drop of 213 meters.
The gorge is divided into three sections: Upper, Middle and Lower Hutiao. At the narrowest spot the river is only 30 meters wide. The mouth of the gorge is 1,800 meters above sea level. The river is flanked by Yulong and Haba Snow Mountains, with a height difference of 3,900 meters. It is one of the deepest gorges in the world.

    Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia)

    In the morning, we take an overland drive of 100 kilometers, or 2 hours, along Yunnan-Tibet Road to Qiaotou (1850 meters), or the upper Tiger Leaping Gorge. From Qiaotou, drive 3 kilometers along the gorge road to a small village, where driver and vehicle will leave and our local guide will go with you to start the trek up the Haba Mountains (1.5 hour to Zhong Luo Yu village at 2250 meters, another 1.5 hours to '24 Bends' at 2650 meters, another 1.5 hours to 'Two Families' at 2320 meters, and 2 hours to Bendiwan at 2410 meters. The total trekking distance is around 15 kilometers). Overnight in BENGDIWAN Village Halfway Lodge（private shower） Today the hotel is a little bit simple as well as breakfast is simple
