    *Participants needs show foto ID to enter the Jewish Museum Curaçao. * The Mikve Israel-Emmanuel, consecrated in 1732. Mikve Israel, is the oldest synagogue building still standing and in continious use in the Wesntern Hemisphere. Jewish Museum Curaçao, tell the story from the Jewish community since their arrival in 1651 and the new addition of WWII exhibition with Curaçao native war hero George Maduro and Anne Frank. The Giftshop has a variety of cards, books, souvenirs that celebrate the Jewish life and history of Curaçao.

    The early 19th century plantation house, Landhuis Rooi Catootje, one of Curaçao's historical monuments, houses a museum which displays antique furniture as well as many historic and unique objects. Each section contains special, permanent exhibits of the memorabilia of the Mongui Maduro family.

It was called ‘Shaarei Tsedek,’ Gates of Righteousness and was located in a villa at Scharloo (Scharlooweg 39-41) near the center of Willemstad, close to Punda.
