Our first stop feels like stepping into a postcard. Sitting right on the edge of the Aragvi River, Ananuri welcomes you with dramatic views, ancient towers, and that fresh mountain air that instantly tells you: the adventure has begun. En route we stop at Ananuri architectural complex for stretching our legs and enjoy impressive views over the Jinvali water reservoir.
After that, we arrive at the famous Gudauri viewpoint. Built to celebrate friendship between nations, the monument offers some of the wildest mountain panoramas you’ll see on this tour. Afterwards, take your time walking around, enjoying the scenery, and capturing those perfect “mountains for days” shots. Then, we’ll continue higher along the road, carrying that fresh mountain air with us.
Our journey reaches its climax at the Holy Trinity Church of Gergeti, one of Georgia’s most awe-inspiring landmarks. Perched at an elevation of 2,170 meters, this sacred site stands proudly against the backdrop of the majestic Kazbegi mountains. From here, you’ll gaze down upon the quaint town of Stephantsminda, a serene view that feels like stepping into a living postcard. This moment will leave you in complete awe, as the beauty and history of Gergeti touch your soul
After that, it’s time for Gveleti hiking — our last stop for the day. The path is easy but full of surprises — colorful flowers, mountain birds, and that crisp Caucasus air that wakes you up instantly. Afterwards, you’ll arrive at the waterfalls, refreshing and picture-perfect.
Then, it’s time to check in at your Kazbegi hotel. After waterfalls, hiking trails, and panoramic peaks, the day winds down in style. Grab a drink, glance out at the mountains, and let the memories of today’s adventures sink in
Next, we start the day in Sno, visiting a local sculptor who creates incredible stone heads and figures. Afterwards, you’ll get a close-up look at each piece — some realistic, some whimsical — and hear the stories behind how they’re made. Then, we take a short walk through the town to admire how this creative spirit flows into the surroundings, with little details that make Sno feel like an open-air gallery.
Next, we head to Juta for our hiking adventure — one of the highlights of the day. The trail here is easy, so you don’t need to worry about heavy hiking gear, but sturdy shoes are a must. Afterwards, as we walk through green meadows and along gentle streams, you’ll notice the mountains getting closer and more dramatic with every step — perfect for photos or just breathing in that fresh alpine air. Then, we reach the viewpoints, where the Caucasus peaks stretch as far as you can see. This is a great spot to pause, enjoy a snack if you brought one, or just sit for a few minutes and take it all in. Afterwards, we’ll continue along the trail, following the river, spotting grazing horses, and feeling the calm highland energy.
Afterwards, as we drive back to Tbilisi, your guide will point out a great spot for a local lunch. Warm khinkali, hearty stews, and freshly baked breads await — the perfect way to taste Georgia before the day ends. Then, once everyone’s full and happy, we continue the journey back, taking it easy and enjoying the scenery along the way.
