On arrival, you will meet our Chauffeur/ Guide, who meet and greet you at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Upon arrival in Mawanalla Saradiyel village, check in to your Homestay and you will take a rest of coupe of hours and you will be another new experience of cookery demonstration season which is conducted by traditional village mothers and including your lunch. After lunch, you will climb to Uthuwankande Mountain with completed for beautiful trekking while you are walking to Uthuwankande you may remind about Sura Saradiyel live hood.
Uthuwankanda is a village situated in the Kegalle district with a rock famous for being the hideout of a local bandit named Saradiel. The mini hike to Uthuwankanda gives visitors a chance to experience an authentic village walk which is famous as Robin Hood’s village in Sri Lanka. This village experience consists of four parts which are Saradiel rock, Saradiel cave, Saradiel theme park and Bo Ella out of which the hike to Saradiel rock is the main adventure activity of the tour. Saradiel was born at the time the British ruled Sri Lanka and is known as the Sri Lankan Robin Hood. He stole money from the rich and generously distributed it among the poor
Alagalla Mountain Range or “Potato Range” is situated at the boundaries of the Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces in Sri Lanka. It has protected Buddhism and culture from the western powerful nations such as the Portuguese, Dutch, and English for approximately five centuries as a natural barrier (1505–1948). Most of the battles against invasions aimed at the Kandyan Kingdom by the western nations from time to time in their ruling period of Maritime Provinces happened at the Alagalla Mountains. Invading foreign armies were defeated by the battles at Balana (View Point) under the reign of Kandyan Kings.
Breakfast will be served at the captain lodge homestay. Today we will embark on a full-day cycle ride at Pilimathalawa and three temples. We will leave the hotel around 0800hrs. Our guide will be arranging everything for your tour. While you will be riding by cycle you will see pristine spice plants and nearby three temple complexes. The three temples (Gadaladeniya, Lankathilake, Embekka) have been made in the 14th century before the Kandyan Kingdom was fully established. These temples are three located within easy walking distance which is given another unforgettable experience for heritage lovers.
Lunch at Hiripitiya village house. Your lunch will be made by village mothers. On completion in we will offer you a glimpse small walk from Kalugamuwa village and have a bath in Kalugamuwa lake. After you will be reaching Kandy and check into your hotel and spend your overnight at Kandy.

Situated in Kandy’s suburb of Peradeniya, the spectacular Peradeniya Botanical Garden dates to 1371. Once enjoyed for pleasure by a Kandyan queen, this spectacular garden is enclosed on three sides by a large bend in the Mahaweli River. A Kandyan prince’s residence during the 18th Century, in the early 1800s the leafy green tangle became one of the greatest Botanical Gardens in the British Empire. For a short spell during the Second World War, it was used as the Allied Forces Headquarters for the Asian region.
