    Next, embark on a scenic 1.5-hour drive along a winding mountain road, taking in stunning views on both sides to Doi Inthanon Summit & Ang Ka Nature Trail

    Our first stop is Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain at 2,565 meters (8,415 feet) above sea level. The summit offers breathtaking panoramic views, especially in the early morning when mist blankets the valleys below. Explore the Ang Ka Nature Trail, a short but scenic mossy forest walk, home to rare plants, wild orchids, and a cool climate during the rainy season. Visit the shrine honoring King Inthawichayanon, for whom the mountain is named. Enjoy a short nature walk leading to a scenic viewing platform.

    Twin Royal Pagodas (King & Queen Pagodas) The King and Queen Pagodas, also known as Naphamethinidon & Naphaphonphumisiri, were built to honor the 60th birthdays of King Rama IX and Queen Sirikit. Located near the summit, they are surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and offer some of the best panoramic views in the park. Inside, you’ll find intricate Buddhist murals and statues depicting religious and historical stories. Tip: Dress modestly when visiting temples and wear comfortable walking shoes.
