Travel approximately 35 minutes from Chiang Mai into the countryside.
Stop for a short 15-minute break at a service station for a restroom break and personal needs before continuing the journey.
Visit a Local Market Stop at a local Thai market and take some time to explore the stalls, see local products and seasonal produce, and experience the atmosphere of everyday local life.
Continue with an approximately 1-hour drive through the mountain area, enjoying scenic views along the way.
OPTION B ONLY – Bamboo Rafting Enjoy approximately 50 minutes of bamboo rafting on the Mae Wang River aboard a traditional bamboo raft, surrounded by jungle and riverside scenery. Note: Bamboo rafting is subject to weather, water levels, and river conditions and may be canceled if conditions are considered unsafe.
Option A: Longer Jungle Trek Enjoy a guided jungle trekking experience through the Doi Inthanon National Park area, lasting approximately 3–4 hours in total, including walking time and stops along the route. Visit a local hill tribe village, stop at a waterfall, enjoy lunch surrounded by nature, and pass through forest trails, seasonal rice fields, and mountain scenery. Option B: Short Jungle Trek & Bamboo Rafting After bamboo rafting, continue with a shorter guided jungle trekking experience through the Doi Inthanon National Park area, lasting approximately 40–60 minutes. Visit a local hill tribe village, stop at a waterfall, and enjoy the surrounding forest and seasonal countryside scenery.
Return to Chiang Mai (approximately 5:00–5:30 PM) Sit back and relax on the journey back to Chiang Mai. The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.
