After the meeting at the ship, we will drive toward to the Caves of Carrara!!! Here you will enjoy the beauties of the white famous Carrara Marble and the visit of the quarry!
We will drive to Pietrasanta...
Pietrasanta is a town and comune on the coast of northern Tuscany in Italy, in the province of Lucca. Pietrasanta is part of Versilia, on the last foothills of the Apuan Alps.
The town has Roman origins and part of the Roman wall still exists.
The medieval town was founded in 1255 upon the pre-existing "Rocca di Sala" fortress of the Lombards by Luca Guiscardo da Pietrasanta, from whom it got its name. Pietrasanta was at its height a part of the Republic of Genoa (1316–1328).
We will drive to Pisa, known in the world for its famous Leaning Tower ( it's not the only one!)... Piazza dei cavalieri and then we will drive back to the port.

Where to meet your driver: Take the free shuttle bus you will find under the ship to the waiting area for private car service located outside the port. Your driver will be waiting for you here holding a sign with your name on it. The Port Authority has implemented this procedure and, as such, it is out of our control. The pick up and drop off time can be change according the arrival and departure time of the ship.
