This Budapest Evening stroll starts in the early evening and lasts for 1-1,5 hours which is perfect, because you still have time afterwards to have dinner or go out to explore the nightlife of Budapest.
Also, this tour is ideal for those who cannot take longer walks because of health or any other issues, the pace and the route is easy. It starts and ends on the Pest side of the city, takes you from Elisabeth square through the downtown and the famous shopping street, the Váci street to the Great Market hall on Fővám square If you find that you still have some energy left at the end, it’s recommended to cross the Liberty bridge and walk up to the top of the Gellért hill (takes about 15-20 minutes) and admire the view of the beautiful, lit up city. You can learn about some of the Hungarian and Budapest’s history, culture, cuisine and nightlife during this useful, compact walk.
