Meeting and pickup
We will collect guests from their Hotel in the City Centre of Cape Town and a 10km radius from the City Centre. We do also collect in Somerset West area. Alternatively designated areas on the outskirts which needs to be agreed upon by Gems of Africa Safari and Tours.

Camps Bay (Pass by)
Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard and admire the Blue Flag beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. Enjoy panoramic views of white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, palm-lined promenades, and the lively Camps Bay Strip, home to popular cafés, restaurants, and bars.

1Hout Bay
Visit the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay, known for its working harbour, beach, and vibrant atmosphere. Guests may choose to join an optional boat trip to Seal Island, home to thousands of Cape fur seals. Boat trip at extra cost. In Hout Bay, you have the option of taking a boat cruise to Seal Island (not included in the rate) or strolling around the popular mariner wharf and harbour where you’ll make friends with the friendly seals that pop up for a pat.

Chapman's Peak Drive (Pass by)
Continue along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, offering multiple scenic viewpoints and unforgettable photo opportunities. During whale season, you may be lucky enough to spot whales or dolphins offshore.

2Cape Point Nature Reserve
Explore one of South Africa’s most celebrated natural landmarks. The Cape Point Nature Reserve features dramatic cliffs, sweeping ocean views, unique flora, and abundant wildlife. Visit the historic lighthouse, explore the Cape of Good Hope, and see monuments honouring early explorers such as Vasco da Gama and Bartolomeu Dias.

3Simon's Town
Stop at Boulders Beach to visit the endangered African Penguin Colony, home to over 3,000 penguins. This protected beach allows for close viewing of these fascinating birds in their natural habitat. Continue through Simon’s Town, a historic naval town and home of the South African Navy, offering charming streets, harbour views, and rich maritime history. Entrance is at extra cost.
