Alberobello is a picturesque Apulian city in the Province of Bari, 70 km far from Matera. The astonishing “Trulli of Alberobello” were recognized UNESCO World Heritage of humanity in 1996 and awarded by the Italian Touring Club as the excellent accommodation solution and for its architectural harmony. Winding alleys and characteristic squares intertwine in the Rione Aia Piccola and the Rione Monti, where the "Siamese trulli", with their original two-cone roof, stand out. You will also visit the 'Sovereign' Trullo and enjoy a magnificent view from the Belvedere.

The Trullo "Sovrano" is the biggest trullo in Alberobello, and the only one that was built with two floors. It houses a reconstruction of a typical ancient house. The guide will explain how the citizen used to live in those particular houses.
The Cathedral is named after the guardian saints, protectors of the city, and is one of the most important churches in Alberobello. You will admire the unique paintings and the relishes of the saints inside the church.
Rione Aia Piccola seems to be almost a hidden part of the city while it is the most decorated, and thus most admired district of the city during holidays. There is a lot of ancient Trulli that are ease to recognize because of the color of the stone they are built of.
