    Zocalo De Atlixco

    At this point we will know the best of Atlixco Pueblo Mágico. Accompanied by our certified guide you will visit the Parish, the famous stairs of Atlixco with the floral clock, the Former Convent of Atlixco. We will also visit a mezcalería to taste the famous mezcal poblano. You will have free time in case you want to climb to the glass viewpoint where you can observe the whole Altixco Valley and the imposing beauty of the Popocatéptl Volcano.

    Templo San Francisco Acatepec

    At this stop you will admire the beautiful covered facade of Talavera Poblana as well as the spectacular interior of the temple covered in gold in a Baroque style.

    Templo de Santa Maria Tonantzintla

    This temple is unique in the world: it is a spectacular example of Mexican Baroque. Its interior was adorned by indigenous hands during colonial times, so these artisans included in the decoration flora, fauna and products of the region as well as symbols of their ancestors. It's a wonder of Mexican baroque.

    At this point we will visit the Convent of San Gabriel, the Plaza de la Concordia and its arcade (the longest in Latin America), the area of crafts. You will have free time to walk outside the archaeological zone and admire the spectacular syncretism represented by the Great Pyramid crowned at the top with the Temple of Our Lady of Remedies. If you want, you can climb the outside stairs to the tip of the pyramid, visit the temple and admire the Puebla Valley surrounded by the volcanoes Popocatépetl, Izztaccíhuatl, La Malinche and on very clear days the Peak of Orizaba.
