We'll pick you from the hotel you staying in Colombo or Negombo and our 1st stop will be the world heritage: Rock fortress Sigiriya, the ancient kingdom considering as the 8th wonder in the world built by King Kassapa. This masterpiece is nearly 200m high and the site was selected by King Kassapa for his new capital in 477–495 AD. He decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. You may explore old gratify made by visitors and also arts made by artists. You'll reach Pelvehera cultural village and there you will serve by the traditional lunch made by local villagers. As a bonus, you will enjoy a relaxing carbon neutral paddle boat ride on village lake prior to the royal cave temple. It’s a world heritage and considering the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers are 160m over than the surrounding plains. In the end, we will drop you to where you are staying in Kandy or the suburbs along with the amazing memories grabbed throughout this precious day.

    Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress

    Sigiriya or Sinhagiri is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It is a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock approximately 180 meters high. According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa, this area was a large forest, then after storms and landslides it became a hill and was selected by King Kashyapa (477–495 AD) for his new capital.

    Golden Temple of Dambulla

    Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site (1991) in Sri Lanka. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka which contains a total of 153 Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings and four statues of gods and goddesses. Prehistoric Sri Lankans would have lived in these cave complexes before the arrival of Buddhism in Sri Lanka as there are burial sites with human skeletons about 2700 years old in this area, at Ibbankatuwa near the Dambulla cave complexes.
