Our signature safari 5 days budget safari leads to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Safari allows us to explore three of the premier parks on The Northern Safari Circuit. We start our adventure at The Tarangire National Park, so named for the life-giving river that wends its way through the environs of the park attracting a multitude of wildlife to drink of its sating waters. Roving on from Tarangire we take the opportunity to spend two night on the Serengeti Plains, home to Planet Earths’ last great terrestrial migration, that of the wildebeest, zebra, and antelope. From here we make for the Ngorongoro Highlands, one of the seven wonders of Africa and a UNESCO world heritage site, the crater offers the premier game viewing experience in Tanzania if not the continent entire.

    Our personal safari guide and driver will meet you at the airport or hotel to undertake the drive, on good tarmac road, the some hundred and twenty kilometres to Tarangire National Park where we undertake our first day of game drives. Tarangire well known for its elephant populations, three families numbering in the region of one thousand each, is so named for the life-giving Tarangire River which wends its way through the park and gives sustenance from its cooling waters to a broad variety of game that comes here to imbibe. We may hope to see zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name a few. It is possible we will glimpse our friend leopard Panthera, Simba, the mighty lion, stalking his prey or, the leopard watching in relaxation in the trees above. An ornithological paradise, some five hundred birds have been here identified. Returning to our lodge for a hot lunch we again at 1400 hrs head out to continue our game viewing experience in the park, search of the creatures at their daily business With the day coming to a close and the sun setting over The Rift Valley our driver will convey us to our campsite for a delectable dinner and an overnight in our comfort adventure camp in Tarangire public campsite.

    After breakfast we continue our journey, heading up towards the fertile highlands where wheat, coffee, and corn, are grown by the Iraqw people. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we will be afforded a view of the breath-taking Ngorongoro Crater before traveling onwards to the Serengeti National Park, Serenget, and ‘Endless Plain’ in Maa, the tongue of the Maasai, which we will reach by midday. The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania covering an astounding 15,000 kms squared with diverse landscapes and habitats such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah and mountain. It is upon this landscape the great migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope takes place and we will Endeavour to take the opportunity to witness the thousands upon thousands of animals on their search for food and water. With our en-route game drive behind us, we lunch at the lodge and, at 1500 hrs, head out for our afternoon game drive. With day drawing to a close we campsite in anticipation of excellent dining and capacious quarters to harbor our rest. Dinner and overnight at our comfort adventure camp in Serengeti central Seronera public campsite

    After our hearty breakfast at the lodge we head out to enjoy our wildlife adventure on the ‘Endless Plain’. There is to be found upon the plain an abundance of wildlife with over three million large mammals here resident easily justifying the landscapes recognition as a UNESCO world heritage site. Other than the great migrating hordes we seek, we may also see cheetah, lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, wildebeest, hartebeest, topi, eland, crocs , Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelle, amongst many many more. With over five hundred bird species identified the park is a veritable ornithological paradise, ostrich abound, secretary bird, marabou stork, and the largest flighted bird on Earth, the kori bustard. at late evening drive to crater rim for Dinner and overnight at our comfort adventure camp in Simba public campsite

    Ngorongoro Crater

    An early start today, rising at 0600 hrs for our breakfast before we descend the bumpy winding track, noting our passage through several climatic zones, into the Crater and, very quickly, we will be able to see wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, elephant, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With a little bit of luck, we might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass. After our picnic lunch at the hippo pools and a full afternoon inside the caldera, we head up to the highlands again to undertake our drive to Manyara, our memories and memory cards replete with images of the East African .

    In the morning, after your breakfast our Signature Safari guide and driver will collect you for the 130 km drive on good tarmac road with a picnic lunch on board to the Lake Manyara National Park. Along the way we pass the Maasai in their colourful clothes by the roadside tending their cattle with the beautiful sweeping Rift Valley landscape drawing our attention to the beauty of Planet Earth. Manyara is host to the dizzying sight of the multitudinous flamingo and also harbours a wealth of wildlife such as lion, hippo, elephant, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, baboon, blue and vervet monkey, warthog amongst many many more. An ornithological paradise with over four hundred species of bird having been here recorded. We will enjoy our picnic lunch during our extensive game drives and, with day coming to a close and the African night descending, spreading shadows all across the land, we wend our way to Arusha for refreshing.
