    Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen, the beautiful Blue City, is known for its traditional buildings. Here you can enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue painted walls of the medina and the markets that offer unique local handicrafts. Another popular spot is the casbah in the center of the old town with its lush gardens. There is a museum that's well worth a visit, with an impressive collection of ancient weapons, historic photographs of the ancient city, and valuable textiles. Chefchaouen is also a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains. From the city center, it is a short walk to the scenic Ras El Maa Waterfall. The waterfall is located right at the end of a city street. There you will see local women who bring their wool carpets to wash under the strong water pressure of the falls. You will also see vendors squeezing fresh orange juice, if you would like to have a refreshing treat.
