Photostop at the main enterance of Istana Nurul Iman. The official residence of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei. The world's largest residential palace and the seat of the Brunei government. HM Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah uses the palace to host foreign leaders and for all the state functions of the government of Brunei.
Photostop at RIPAS Bridge overlooking the historical Kampong Ayer. Regarded as the largest Water Village settlement in the world. The centuries-old Kampong Ayer is dubbed as "Venice of the East" by Venetian Antonio Pigafetta who sail to Brunei with Ferdinand Magellan's flagship "Victoria" in 1521.
Photo stop from The Frame and visit Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, the iconic landmark in the capital city. The elegant mosque was offically opened on 26th Sept 1958 and a symbol of the Islamic faith in the country. Declared by most to be the most beautiful mosque in the region. Visit the Royal Regalia Museum, officially opened on 30th Sept 1992 to mark 25 years of His Majesty's the Sultan accession to the throne. The architectural design of the museum takes into account the characteristic concept of the Malay Islamic Monarchy. It houses the royal regalias and royal custums used during the coronation, as well exhibits related to commemorate the Silver Jubliee of HM the Sultan of Brunei. Photostop at the impressive Balai Khazanah Islam Siltan Hassanal Bolkiah. The modern iconic Islamic architecture building open its doors on 12th October 2019.
*RIPAS Bridge* Photostop at RIPAS Bridge named after Her Majesty the Queen is an iconic part of the capital's skyline. The bridge was offically opened on 14th Oct 2017, marks yet another milestone in His Majesty's the Sultan 50-year reign. The 750-metre landmark bridge is the world’s second longest single-pylon cable-stayed bridge.
