    This day, your guide and driver will pick you up at the Airport to your booked hotel. If time permit you will spend some time at the famous Osu Oxford Street to experience nightlife in Accra.

    Ashanti Region- Kumasi

    Manhyia Palace Museum

    The manhyia Palace is the residence of the Asantehene. The Asantehene is the king of the Ashanti kingdom, which is one of the most powerful ancient empires in Africa. In the Museum we will learn more about the history of the Ashanti people. Next, we will visit the Kumasi Culture Centre which has over 700 stalls ranging from art works and traditional clothing from all over Ghana and other parts of West Africa. We will also visit the Bonwire Kente Weaving Village which is noted for weaving this traditional Ghanaian cloth known as Kente.

    Brong-East Region, Ghana.

    This morning after breakfast, we visit the kumasi craft villages Like the Ntonso Adinkra Cloth making village to learn more about this ancient ashanti symbol known as adinkra. Next, will also Ahwiaa wood curving village. This town specializes in wooden products such as stools, traditional masks, fertility dolls among others and are used for various purposes including interior and exterior decorations. Finally, we will leave kumasi for the boabeng-fiema monkey sanctuary in the Brong East Region. The village of Boabeng-Fiema is an ancient village where the community regard the mona and the black and white colobus monkeys as part of the village their ancestors migrated to this place in 1827. These monkeys are considered to be sacred.

    Brong-East Region- Boabeng-Fiema, Kintampo And Tanoboase.

    This morning after breakfast, we will do a guided tour of the monkey sanctuary to observe the monkeys and also learn more about the history of the monkeys and the community. We will also pay a courtesy call to the Monkey Priest who is responsible for the burial of the monkeys in the the monkey cemetery. Next, we will visit the Kintampo waterfalls which is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in West Africa. Our next destination will be the Tanoboase Sacred Grove, which was the first settlement of the Bono people when their ancestors migrated to Ghana. At the sacred grove, we will hike through the forest to the top of the caves.

    Central Region- Cape Coast

    Cape Coast Castle

    Today, we will leave very early for Cape-Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. In Cape-Coast, we will visit the Cape-Coast Castle which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Cape-Coast Castle is one of the numerous Colonial buildings used for the keeping captive slaves before been taken to the Americas in during the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. Next, we will visit the Kakum National Park, which is home to the famous kakum canopy walkway. At the Kakum National Park will also do a walking trail through the forest to learn more about the different types of trees and the animal species available at the park.

    Greater Accra Region, Accra.

    Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park

    This morning, we will leave very early for Accra. In Accra, we will first visit the Bustling Makola Market which is one of the busiest opening air market in West Africa. Our next, we will visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum which is the final resting place of Ghana's independence leader and first president Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Next, we will visit the Independence Square which signifies Ghana's Independence and freedom from British Colonial rule. Again, we will visit the British James Town which is the first British Settlement in Accra. It is also home to the famous James Town Light house and the Usher fort. We will also visit the art center. The art center has alot of stalls which sells art works. Finally, we will for the airport 2 hours before check in for your possible departure.
