First visit: Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, the Cambodian Architecture structure and living art of royal families, the palace is a complex of buildings which serves as the official royal residence of the King families of Cambodia. The Royal Palace full name in Khmer is the Preah Barom Reacheaveang Chaktomuk Serey Mongkol. our Cambodian monarchs have occupied it since, built in the 1860s.. The palace was constructed between 1866 and 1870, after King Norodom relocated the royal capital from Oudong city.. Second Visiting Place: National Museum of Cambodia's Phnom Penh art gallery, collected art gallery.... The Museum is home to the world’s finest collection of Khmer sculpture, cultures: housed in a graceful terracotta structure of traditional design, built from 1917 to 1920. the museum display of the ancient sculptures are shoulders and two arms – of an immense bronze reclining Vishnu statue, recovered from the Western Mebon temple near Angkor Wat in 1936. eight-armed Vishnu statue from the 6th century, found at Phnom Da, Harihara, combining the attributes of Shiva and Vishnu, from Prasat Andet, Kompong Thom Province. striking statues of Shiva from the 9th, 10th and 11th centuries; statue of a seated Jayavarman VII (r 1181–1219), his head bowed slightly in a meditative pose (Angkor Thom, late 12th century). Third Visiting Place: Wat Phnom, the holy Buddhism temple, gathering spot of every new year, located in the city. 27m-high within tree-covered knoll, Wat Phnom is on the only ‘hill and highest hill’ in town. Six Visiting place: Killing Field, Between 1975 and 1978, about 20,000 men, women, children and infants who had been detained and tortured at S-21 prison were transported to the extermination camp of Choeung Ek. It is a peaceful place today, where visitors can learn of the horrors that unfolded here decades ago, Duration of the visiting is 1 hour
7 visiting Russian Market.... well known in Cambodia as Phsar Toul Tom Pong: This curious name was began in the 1980s when the Russian came to work and live in the capital Phnom Penh and they just preferred shopping at this market, so the Russian Market name appeared from this reason. A range of countless items displaying in here such as street food, clothes, cosmetics, souvenirs or motorcycle parts,..especially Psar Tuol Tom Poung, a kind of clothing that produced by local people.
