Its full name in Khmer is the Preah Barom Reacheaveang Chaktomuk Serey Mongkol. The Cambodian monarchs have occupied it since it was built in the 1860s.. The palace was constructed between 1866 and 1870, after King Norodom relocated the royal capital from Oudong city.. Silver Pagoda, Located in the south position of the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda Phnom Penh is the perfect place for those who want to dig into the religion, especially Buddhism. Silver Pagoda holds great cultural and religious significance in the country and is a must-visit attraction for travelers.

    6.Choeung Ek of Killing Field ..... Between 1975 and 1978, about 20,000 men, women, children and infants who had been detained and tortured at S-21 prison were transported to the extermination camp of Choeung Ek. It is a peaceful place today, where visitors can learn of the horrors that unfolded here decades ago. Admission includes an excellent audio tour, available in several languages :45 minutes
