Upon arrival at Catania airport be greeted by your driver, who will bring you to your countryside hotel on Mount Etna's Slope. Your hotel is located near UNESCO Etna's park with 10 hectares including an organic vineyard, olive garden, swimming pool, and ancient cave. Your DBL room is a separated house constructed according to the bio rules. This day will be dedicated to the Nature. You can walk around of this amazing territory enjoying silence, birds songs, aromas, Etna's top amazing view, tasting local wines and food, relaxing by the pool, and reading books under the olive tree. You will have lunch and dinner in a very authentic and romantic restaurant at your hotel.
Your breakfast will be served in your room. You will spend relaxing time at your hotel and your driver and guide will pick you up in the afternoon, when the air is already fresher in Sicily, to start your private tour to Taormina. You will enjoy a walking tour and see an unforgettable sunset. Taormina is the pearl of Sicily, famous all over the world for its marvelous panoramic views, full of pastel-painted buildings and Baroque church spires, rich with historic landmarks. After your relaxing walking tour, you will taste local food & wine for aperitivo time in Taormina's authentic place.
After breakfast is served in your room, you will meet your guide at the reception to start a journey to the highest active volcano in Europe - mount Etna. You will reach the point of 2000 meters above sea level and walk in this unique landscape. After you will visit 2 different wineries to taste the famous Etna's wine & learn about its wine production. These types of wines will be accompanied with the local food.
This morning you will reach a special local place in a small Sicilian village near to your hotel for your breakfast. You will taste a local traditional breakfast with fresh Ricotta - Sicilian cheese, covered with local honey. After your driver will bring you back to your hotel. After relaxing time you will join an authentic cooking class with lunch at your hotel.
After breakfast, you will have to check out to continue your trip to another part of Sicily the UNESCO Sicilian Baroque part of Sicily. On the way to your second hotel, where you always will find a relaxing & family atmosphere, amazing nature, a swimming pool, and delicious local homemade food... You will have a stop in Noto. Noto is the Capital of Baroque in Sicily and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is perched on a plateau overlooking the Asinaro Valley, covered by citrus, olive, and almond trees. Noto was completely destroyed by the earthquake in 1693 and then rebuilt. You can admire palaces, churches, balconies with wrought iron railings, and cherubs that decorate the facing. Noto is called the “Garden of Stone” because of its typical stone. With your private guide discover Baroque churches and buildings, and enjoy Baroque palaces, balconies, windows, and doors, After this walking tour, you will visit a local winery where you will try different types of wines and local food.
After your breakfast, you will start a journey to Sicilian Baroque towns. You will visit Ragusa Ibla with your private guide. Ragusa Ibla is very much a tourist attraction with its incredibly beautiful baroque buildings and churches. In 2002 the city was included among the Baroque UNESCO heritage sites. The town is divided into Ragusa Superiore, the more modern upper town which was rebuilt in a more organized layout after the 1693 earthquake, and Ragusa Ibla. The latter is the nucleus of the old town, set on a ridge at the bottom of the gorge, where new palazzi replaced the destroyed buildings but the streets remained largely unchanged.

The history of Scicli, of course, dates back to long before 1693 and is thought to have taken its name from its founders, the Siculi, one of the three main tribes that inhabited Sicily before the arrival of Greek settlers. Like the rest of the island, it passed from one invading conqueror to another, reaching its economic and cultural peak during the Arab and Norman dominations.
This day will be dedicated to the Nature. You can walk around this amazing territory enjoying silent, bird songs, aromas, and amazing views, tasting local wines and food, relaxing by the pool, and reading books under the olive tree. You are more than welcome to change the program and add any activity if you would like to visit other places.
After your breakfast, the driver will wait for you at your hotel reception to bring you to Ctania's Airport according to your flight time.
