Once its area occupied about 250 hectares, and the population reached about 20 thousand people. Sciacca, and the Andromeda Theater — Art and History

After a fresh and delicious breakfast at your hotel be created by your private guide and driver to start your full day amazing trip. Your first stop will be in the hidden part of Sicily. You will visit an open air art work, unusual and metaphysical place - Teatro Andromeda. The theater stands at an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level, and there is an incredible panorama of Sicilian nature around. In the Andromeda Theater, every detail is filled with meaning. 108 seats, created from cubic blocks of light stone, are arranged, seemingly at first glance, in a mess. But if you look from above, the seats are shaped like 8 terminal stars, and each of them occupies the “place” of one of the 108 stars from the constellation Andromeda. Entering the theater, it seems that you are making a transition from one world to another. It is this effect that makes visitors feel outside the real world and find themselves in the mystical and metaphysical center of nature, far from the ordinary.

Sciacca is famous for its Baroque and Medieval buildings, ancient squares, churches, picturesque streets and, of course, surrounging nature and seaside. From the Porta San Salvatore, the oldest of the gates of Sciacca, with its purely Renaissance style, you will enter the historic center of the city.
