The 7-day Mount Kilimanjaro climb via the Machame Route is one of the most scenic and rewarding ways to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. Often called the “Whiskey Route,” Machame is famous for its breathtaking landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and excellent acclimatization profile, making it one of the most popular and successful routes on the mountain.

This itinerary allows climbers to ascend gradually through lush rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, and glaciated summit zones, with highlights including the Shira Plateau and the iconic Barranco Wall. The extra acclimatization day improves comfort and increases summit success while offering spectacular views along the way.

With Incredible Africa Adventures, you’ll climb with experienced local guides, ethical trekking practices, and well-organized support for a safe, responsible, and unforgettable Kilimanjaro adventure.
