We started this tour to the eastern area of the island with a visit to the Christ King in Garajau,
We cross the Villa do Porto da Cruz, a region known for the production of some of the wine in the region, continuing towards the city of Santana where it has the famous houses with roofs. After lunch at Faial we started the mountain climb towards Ribeiro Frio where we visited the trout vineyard and took a small walk along the Levada dos Balcões. We continue the journey to one of the tallest peaks of Madeira with 1810 m, the Pico do Arieiro. Visit the Câmara de Lobos following Cabo Girão with 580m high, famous for its platform suspended in glass, Ribeira Brava, Ponta de Sol. In Porto Moniz so that our guests can enjoy lunch and enjoy the natural pools.
Returning to Funchal, we passed the Miradouro (Véu da Noiva) making the return to Funchal by the town of São Vicente.

    Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools

    On this day you will discover several natural wonders, as well as surprising landscapes. Start in Câmara de Lobos, a picturesque fishing village featured in Sir Winston Churchill's 1950 painting. Continue the journey towards Cabo Girão and admire the wine fields, used for the production of the famous Madeira Wine. Reach the highest maritime cliff in Europe, and the second highest in the world, Cabo Girão with 580 meters high. Follow the west coast until you reach Ribeira Brava, and the Encumeadas viewpoint, at 1007 meters. Admire the wonderful landscapes both on the coast and on the island. Proceeding, you will cross the plateau of Paúl da Serra, the largest plateau on the island of Madeira. Stop for a snack in Porto Moniz, a famous spot in the north of the island, known for its natural pools. Driving towards São Vicente, you will enjoy the small waterfalls, passing through Seixal, along the way. End of the day with a visit to São Vicente. Return to the Hotel.

    Start this tour towards Pico do Arieiro, the highest mountain accessible by car and the third highest on the island (1818m). Here you will be amazed by the fantastic views over the mountains and the island. Descent towards Ribeiro Frio, located in the Laurissilva forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where nature lives in perfect harmony. Continuing along the north coast, pass through Faial and arrive at Santana, a village known for its typical and original thatched roof houses. After lunch, admire Ponta de São Lourenço, with several rock formations and impressive views. Arrive in Machico, a historic town where the discoverers first landed in 1419. Return to the Hotel.
