Enjoy a 3-hour historical tour through the labyrinth of narrow streets in the Old Town of Nice. Your local guide will take you to the heart of Nice's oldest and liveliest district, with its thousand Mediterranean scents. He'll explain the 2,500-year history of the County of Nice and its evolution from Greek foundation to the present day, through its medieval period under the House of Savoy, then the Belle Epoque since annexation to France.
Visit Old Nice with its monuments, noble palaces, typical market, Baroque churches and its most beautiful squares and small places. You'll have the pleasure of hearing many explanations and anecdotes about history, culture, architecture, street names, stores, best addresses and more. Finally, let's climb up to the castle hill to see the ruins of the old castle, the gardens, the waterfall, the monumental cemetery and magnificent views over Nice (by lift or stairs).
