Pintxos are one of the best-known parts of Bilbao, but they're also part of something bigger: the way people meet, talk and spend time together.
On this small-group experience, we'll walk through Bilbao's historic streets, moving from bar to bar and discovering the social culture behind pintxos.
Along the way, we'll share five pintxos and three drinks while talking about Bilbao, Basque culture, traditions, history and everyday life.
We'll show you how locals approach pintxos — how we order, how we move from one bar to another and why the experience around the food matters just as much as what's on the plate.
There is a route, of course. But there doesn't need to be a script.
Questions are welcome, conversations can take us in different directions, and we'll happily share recommendations for whatever you want to explore afterwards.
Think of it less as following a food tour and more as going out for pintxos with someone who lives here.
