What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We pick up travelers at any hotel in Hangaroa village. Those who have their own vehicle can follow us from their hotel. Our transfer vehicle is suitable for 4 to 5 people.
Meeting point in VaiTea, next to the old sheep plant. Time frame of 15 minutes (if we are picking up more people from the village). You can use this time to visit the ruins of the Williamson-Balfour Company.
What to expect
At first we crossed a forest of eucalyptus where small birds live. Then we continue riding on the high mountain meadows, a perfect place to enjoy the view and the changes of tones in the sunlight. Once on top, the horses graze and we sit down to enjoy an outdoor show.
On the way back, the first stars appear and in the middle of the forest we reach the end of the tour.
Special route beginners. The weather can be quite unpredictable, it is a good idea to be prepared for some rain.
