  Mount Vesuvius

  The Mount Vesuvius entry ticket provides official access to Vesuvius National Park and allows visitors to hike the Gran Cono crater trail, the main path leading to the summit of the volcano. The ticket grants timed entry, helping regulate visitor numbers and ensure safety along the trail. With this ticket, visitors can walk up to the edge of the crater, enjoy panoramic views of the Bay of Naples, and observe the volcanic landscape under the supervision of park staff and guides present along the route. Informational panels along the trail explain the geology and history of Mount Vesuvius, one of the world’s most famous active volcanoes. Tickets must be purchased online in advance and are valid only for the selected time slot.
