This walking tour through the heart of Rome, where ancient history, legends, and lively local culture intertwine at every corner. We begin at the iconic Piazza del Colosseo, in the shadow of the world’s most famous amphitheater, following Via dei Fori Imperiali, a grand avenue lined with the ruins of Rome’s imperial past. Our path continues to Piazza Venezia, the bustling crossroads of the city, and onward to the impressive Foro di Traiano. We’ll then explore the charming Piazza della Madonna dei Monti, a lively square beloved by locals, before wandering the picturesque streets of Rione Monti, one of Rome’s oldest neighborhoods aka suburra.
