Experience Tromsø’s winter fjords after dark aboard S/Y Stella Oceana, a spacious 34-meter expedition sailing yacht limited to 12 guests. This is more than a Northern Lights search: it is a relaxed four-hour evening on the water, with generous outdoor decks for watching the Arctic sky and a heated saloon for dining and warming up between periods outside. Each booking group receives 30–45 minutes of reserved private hot-tub time beneath the night sky. Enjoy a non-alcoholic welcome drink, traditional reindeer stew with bread, and coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and cookies. Blankets, pillows, books and games add to the comfort onboard. The Captain selects the safest and most suitable route through the fjords based on the evening’s sea and weather conditions, while the Captain and crew provide personal service and local insight throughout.

Meeting and pickup
Meet the crew directly at the boat Stella Oceana, a white 34-meter expedition sailing yacht with 2 wooden masts, docked at Sjøgata 35 in front of the Fiskekompaniet restaurant. Use the gangway in front of Home Hotel Aurora to go down to the floating dock. Check-in is at 18:45. Departure is at 19:00.

Tromso Fjords (Pass by)
After check-in at 18:45, depart central Tromsø at 19:00 aboard S/Y Stella Oceana. The Captain selects the safest and most suitable route through the surrounding fjords based on the evening’s sea and weather conditions. Spend time beneath the Arctic night sky on the outdoor decks and look for the Northern Lights during the cruise. Each booking group receives reserved private time in the outdoor hot tub. When you are ready to warm up, relax in the heated saloon and enjoy a non-alcoholic welcome drink, traditional reindeer stew with bread, hot drinks and cookies. The Captain and crew provide personal service and local insight throughout the evening. The yacht returns to the same central Tromsø harbor at approximately 23:00.
