You will depart from Tbilisi early in the morning in the direction of Kazbegi. Our first stop will in 55 minutes at Zhinvali an artificial water reservoir located on the river Aragvi , a perfect place for a memorible landscape photography.
Our next stop just after 15 minutes is Ananuri Castle one of Georgia’s most touristy places. It’s a fortress with a pair of churches and an 16th-century defensive tower inside.
Next stop Gudauri Friendship monument also known as Gudauri Panorama located beetwen ski resort Gudauri and Jvari pass, the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley of Caucasus mountain.
Our last stop is Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), located near Georgia's northern border. Stepantsminda’s greatest draw is Kazbegi Peak, also known as Mkinvartsveri, which has always attracted the interest of mountain lovers. In Kazbegi you can also visit Gergeti Trinity Church of 14th century located under the glacier Kazbegi , Its isolated location on top of a steep mountain surrounded by the vastness of nature has made it one of symbols Georgia.
You will depart from Tbilisi in the morning and begin your journey towards the picturesque region of Kakheti. Your first stop will be at the KTW Wine Factory, located in the village of Patardzeuli, about 40 minutes from Tbilisi. This modern wine facility preserves Georgia’s 8,000-year-old winemaking traditions. Here, you’ll have a chance to learn about the production of wine and chacha and enjoy tasting of local wines.
Next, the journey continues toward Bodbe Monastery, a serene spiritual site nestled in the hills above the Alazani Valley. This 9th-century complex is the final resting place of St. Nino, the woman who brought Christianity to Georgia. Surrounded by tall cypress trees and offering panoramic views, Bodbe is a peaceful place of prayer and reflection.
Just 10 minutes away is our next destination – the romantic town of Sighnaghi, also known as the “City of Love.” Perched on a hilltop, Sighnaghi is famous for its cobblestone streets, colorful balconies, and breathtaking views. One of the town’s most remarkable features is the Great Wall of Sighnaghi, often referred to as the “Georgian Great Wall.” Built in the 18th century by King Erekle II to protect the area from invasions, the wall stretches over 4 kilometers and includes 28 watchtowers—each named after local villages. A walk along the wall offers unforgettable views of the Alazani Valley and the distant Caucasus Mountains. You’ll have free time to explore the charming streets, take photos, shop for handmade souvenirs, or enjoy a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant (optional). After the visit, you will return to Tbilisi, with a drive of approximately 2 hours.
