We will meet at your hotel early in the morning and begin our long and wonderful journey to Svaneti. During the trip, we will pass through three different regions of Georgia, making the experience even more memorable. Along the way, we can stop for lunch or a coffee break according to your wishes. Our first major stop will be at the Enguri Dam, one of the highest arch dams in the world, standing at 271.5 meters. After that, we will continue toward Upper Svaneti, an exceptional mountain region famous for its breathtaking landscapes, well-preserved villages, unique defensive tower houses, and remarkable examples of medieval ecclesiastical architecture and art. Upon arrival in Mestia, we will take you to your hotel for check-in, where you can rest and prepare for the adventures of the next day. Overnight in Mestia

    Chalaadi Glacier

Have you ever seen where a river is born? On our second day, we will start with one of the most popular hikes in Mestia — a visit to the Chalaadi Glacier, considered one of the easiest glaciers to reach in Georgia, located only 12 km from Mestia. The glacier itself is a spectacular glacial tongue about 6 kilometers long, originating from the slopes of the mighty Ushba and Chatini massifs. The trail begins with a peaceful walk through a beautiful mixed forest, then continues along a rocky path. As the forest ends, the trail brings us to the banks of the Chalaadi River, whose icy waters emerge directly from under the glacier. The final part of the hike leads across large moraine stones, creating an adventurous approach to this breathtaking natural wonder, and the whole journey from the bridge to the glacier and back usually takes a maximum of 4 hours at a moderate pace, including time for rest and photos.

After visiting the Chalaadi Glacier, we will drive back to Mestia, where we will take you to visit one of the famous Svan Towers. Svan Towers are the iconic symbol of Svaneti. Nowhere else in the world can you find structures like these unique defensive towers, which were primarily built between the 9th and 12th centuries during the Georgian Golden Age. These tower houses were designed as defensive dwellings, usually standing 3–5 storeys high and reaching around 25 meters in height. After exploring the tower, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a meal at one of the local restaurants. At the end of the day, we will take you back to your accommodation. Overnight in Mestia

On the third day, in the morning, you will depart by our car or a local off-road vehicle to Ushguli, located at the head of the Enguri Gorge. Ushguli is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the highest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe, offering an outstanding blend of mountainous landscapes with medieval-style towers and churches. Here, you will have the opportunity to visit the medieval Lamaria Church (dedicated to the Assumption of the Mother of God) and take unforgettable photos of the breathtaking surroundings. Walking among the ancient towers and stone houses, you will feel as if you have stepped back into the Middle Ages, surrounded by history and timeless mountain scenery. Overnight in Mestia
