1Castelo de Almourol
Located on an island in the middle of the Tagus River, the 12th-century Almourol Castle is one of Portugal's most remarkable castles, due to its historical importance and surrounding landscape. It's a nice boat ride to get to the Castle (boat price is not included)

2 hours to visit Tomar Castle and the Convent of Christ; UNESCO has classified as World Heritage the Templar Castle and the Knights of Christ Convent (12th century), the latter being a unique monument in the history of the western world. This vast monumental complex illustrates seven centuries of Portuguese history and contains many memories of important events in the history of the western world. The Convent of Christ (XII century - XVIII century) is the name given to a set of historical buildings located in the parish of São João Baptista, city of Tomar, Portugal. The beginning of its construction dates back to 1160 and is closely linked to the beginnings of the kingdom of Portugal and the role then played by the Order of the Templars, having been reconfigured and expanded in subsequent centuries, when the Order of Christ was located there.
