    The Great Wall at Badaling

    The tour guide will pick you up at your Beijing downtown hotel lobby at 8:30 am, have a comfortable transfer to start the trip. You will firstly come to the Badaling Great Wall by approx. 1.5 hours driving. If time permits, have a stop and take photos of the National Stadium "Bird's Nest" on the way. Hike up on the wall, appreciate beacon towers lying at some advantageous strategic forts, and learn how this great man-made project was built. Cable car is equipped in this section, take cable car at your own expense if you can not walk too much.

    Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

    After a short break and lunch at local restaurant, continue to visit the Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), which radiates fully the natural beauty and the grandeur of royal gardens. Stroll around the royal park and explore the man-made ancient structures of pavilions, towers, bridges, corridors, etc. Afterwards, have a comfortable transfer back to your hotel to conclude the day trip.
