What to expect

Get picked up by the guide at your preferred location, such as your local hotel or the airport, and embark on the journey to explore Old and New Delhi. Start around 09:00 to have the full chance to explore everything in time, and begin with a visit to the tallest stone tower in India, the Qutub Minar. Continue to visit the India Gate memorial, and also enjoy a nearby drive through the Rajpath where the governmental headquarters can be viewed, including the president's house and the parliament house. Also have a look at the diplomatic enclave and governmental buildings.

Continue to explore the largest mosque in India, the Jama Masjid. Built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, this is an iconic landmark in Old Delhi and definitely one of the highlights of this tour. Next on visit the Red Fort and enjoy this ancient historical structure, and finish with a visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial site for Mahatma Gandhi and also the location of his cremation.
