Have you ever wondered what life in Dinaric mountains was like many centuries ago? Well, now you have a chance to see it and feel it. Lukomir is one of the very few mountain villages that hasn't changed much.
Join us on our Lukomir trip and enjoy stunning views of one of the deepest and least explored canyons in Europe, Rakitnica river canyon, and mountains Bjelašnica, Visočica, Treskavica, and Prenj.

Depending on your preferences we can pick you up at your hotel/apartment or we can meet at another location.
Just cross the bridge in front of the Sarajevo City Hall and meet your guide next to big #SARAJEVO sign. This location is easy to reach by tram, bus or car.

1Lukomir
High above Sarajevo, perched at 1,469 metres on the edge of the Rakitnica Canyon, Lukomir is Bosnia's highest and most isolated permanently inhabited village and one of the most extraordinary places in the entire Balkans. Its stone-roofed houses, centuries-old dry-stone walls, and unhurried way of life have changed little since the Ottoman era. Women still weave in doorways. Shepherds still tend flocks on the plateau. Time, here, moves differently.
