We offer beautiful 2-hour horseback rides. We operate our horseback rides in one of the most picturesque places in the west. Our friendly and well-trained horses will take you on trail through the washes of the water pocket fold of Capitol Reef National Park. We provide water and trail snacks for you while on our ride. Our horse wranglers are local to the area and are all season veterans in western horseback riding. All of our trips are fully guided. Each person will ride their own horse. We do not allow doubles. You must be 8 years old to participate. Our wranglers are experts on local history and well versed in the flora and fauna of our area. Come join us for a wonderful trail ride. We are family owned and operated business.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Please pull into the Capitol Reef Resort Property in Torrey Utah. Right as you pull in there is a gravel parking lot next to the large Tipi that is built on a wood frame. Please park there. Then walk down the hill to the horse corrals. You will be able to see the corrals from the parking area.
What to expect
We will have our trusty horses saddled up for you when you arrive. We will begin our right from our corrals and will Journey towards the Red Bluff. Note worthy views along the ride will be the Windgate Tunnel and the Petrified Forest. Our ride is a loop so we don't see the same views twice. The trail takes us through the western water pocket fold of Capitol Reef National Park.
The natural scenery and views of Capitol Reef National Park will evoke the feeling of riding in the saddle with John Wayne himself. Come join us and experience a part of the west that few get to see.
